Body Coordination (Human Endocrine System)


Good morning class! Today you are going to learn a new chapter which is human endocrine system. What is endocrine system? The endocrine system is one of the systems in the body that coordinates body functions that involve chemical substances. 
Now watch this video.
Question 1: What are the hormones involved and the function of the hormones in the video? Answer in the comments below. Make sure you write down your name and class.
Next watch this video to show the way the hormone coordination acts.

Prepare a powerpoint presentation that shows the main endocrine glands
Instructions:
1. Carry out this activity in groups.
2. Gather information from the Internet, reference books, magazines and articles on:
(a) position of the endocrine glands
(b) type of hormones secreted
(c) function of each hormone
3. Submit to teacher today.

    - Adrenaline and cortisol hormones. The function of adrenaline hormone is increasing heart rate, elevates blood pressure and boosts energy supplies. While the function of cortisol hormone is increasing sugars (glucose) in the bloodstream, enhances brain's use of glucose and increases the availability of substances that repair tissues.

    Q1: the hormones involved are adrenaline and cortisol hormone, the adrenaline increases heart rate kickstarting our nervOus system, and increased the blood flow trough or muscles allow us perform certain physical action, while the cortisol hormone is keeping the body cool.
